Handmade by expert ceramicists in Portugal, the lamp bases we have designed for the Comporta Collection encapsulate one of the most significant and historical crafts of the country – ceramics. Portugal’s history with ceramic production goes back centuries, and with skills passed down through family generations, the country is known for its distinctive ceramic tiles coating the outside of buildings. For the collection, we’ve designed three classic lamp base shapes, available across eight colourways that signify the hues found in and around Comporta.

Available in three classic colours, the Comporta Lamp Bases are the namesake of our collection. The aquamarine Indigo blue, the sandy Blonde, and the deep Green are some of the colours that are so exuberant in the coastal area of Comporta. Sporting a tapered vase shape, detailed with a scale-like pattern, the lamp base forms a timeless silhouette, versatile for any scheme or room in the house.
