Our Values

A Considered Approach

As the company evolves, the focus remains consistent — to produce work that is thoughtful, well-made and designed to last. Decisions are taken carefully, both in how products are developed and in how the business operates, with an emphasis on longevity over volume.

There is no interest in unnecessary production or short-term thinking. The aim is to create pieces that hold their place within a room, and that continue to feel relevant over time.

Craft & Production

Production is centred in the United Kingdom, working with a small number of traditional mills and printers who bring depth of knowledge and consistency to the collections. This proximity allows for greater control over quality, as well as a more considered approach to how products are made.

Where production takes place further afield, it is done in close collaboration with skilled workshops and artisans, chosen for their expertise and shared approach to making. The emphasis is always on craftsmanship and process — not speed or scale.

Across all categories, the intention is the same: to produce work with integrity, using methods that respect both the material and the people involved in its making.

Longevity Over Novelty

The collections are not driven by seasonal turnover or trend. They evolve gradually, with new designs introduced only when they add something meaningful.

Materials are chosen for their character and durability, and designs are developed to be used, combined and returned to over time. The focus is on creating pieces that endure — both physically and aesthetically — encouraging a more considered way of building interiors.

A British Perspective

Penny Morrison is a British brand with an outward-looking perspective. Influences are drawn from a wide range of cultures and traditions, but are always resolved through a distinctly British lens — one that values balance, restraint and a sense of ease.

There is a natural connection to the history of British textiles and decoration, but it is not treated as something to preserve unchanged. Instead, it is reinterpreted and adapted, allowing the work to feel grounded while remaining relevant to contemporary interiors.
