One silhouette, endless possibilities. Our first upholstery collection with Lorfords Contemporary celebrates what we have always loved about fabric: its ability to change the character of a room, and of the furniture within it.

Launched alongside our Autumn/Winter collections, the Penny sofa and ottoman bring together our love of colour and pattern with Lorfords Contemporary’s expertise in beautifully crafted upholstery. This collaboration has been more than a decade in the making. Penny Morrison was one of Lorfords Contemporary’s earliest clients, and we have worked closely with Nasia de la Haye and her team on bespoke pieces ever since.

One sofa, many personalities

With its low arms, generous proportions and relaxed silhouette, the Penny sofa can be upholstered in any Penny Morrison fabric, designed to feel at home in a wide range of interiors. Choose a skirtless finish that reveals the solid oak timber, or a fully removable loose cover with a crisp box-pleated or softly gathered skirt. The covers make it possible to revisit the look over time, while the silhouette remains reassuringly familiar.

A playful companion

The fully upholstered Penny storage ottoman is shown in our new Bagru Stripe, a printed and embroidered ikat-inspired design drawing on antique textiles from the Ottoman Empire. Lift the lid to find a surprise: a lining in Sketched Stripe in Gold. It is a practical piece with the layered pattern and detail we love.

Handcrafted in Gloucestershire, the collection reflects a shared commitment to comfort, traditional upholstery techniques and furniture made to last. The pieces will be unveiled at our refreshed Langton Street showroom in London.
